When we think about children who have super-rich parents, we automatically assume that life would be much easier for them compared to how it was for the majority of us growing up. And when these parents are also very famous, we assume there is no end to the kind of luxuries these children would enjoy.
While that may be true for the majority of children being raised by Hollywood parents, as far as the children of Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are concerned, they are not getting anything of that sort, even though both of them have millions to their names, which is natural considering their stature in the entertainment industry. But why?
Not Getting Much
Although their children are quite young and completely dependent on them at this point, both Mila and Ashton are thinking way into the future when their children would legally become adults.
According to an interview given by Ashton, the pair don’t plan on leaving their children any of their money, which includes their daughter named Wyatt and their son Dimitri.
Kutcher mentioned all of this on the podcast show called Armchair Expert hosted by a dear friend of his, Dax Shepard.
He explained that the couple wishes to use their hard-earned money in the best possible manner, and that would most likely be in the aid of those who have a genuine need of it.
Hollywood celebrities, or any rich parents, often set up trust funds in the names of their children to ensure they live a comfortable life, depositing millions of dollars that are supposed to be released to the children after they attain a certain age and/or for specific expenditure, such as college tuition fee, throughout the course of their life. But Kutcher and Kunis don’t have any such plans for their own children.
Already Very Privileged
According to Kutcher’s podcast interview, their children are enjoying a very comfortable life at this time. If things go on like this, the parents fear they would be spoiling the little ones, or at least not raising them to become responsible adults.
Hence, as a measure to instill a sense of responsibility in them, they would not keep them in any hope of becoming millionaires by inheriting their parent’s fortune.
However, the children can get some financial support from their rich parents if they are able to show a genuine need for it to fund a productive venture.
Both Kutcher and Kunis are of the opinion that they would be willing to provide funding for their kid’s dream projects as long as they come up with feasible business plans.
By doing all this, both celebrities hope their children would break the tradition set by rich parents whose children often end up being very spoiled.
Kunis is adamant that her children would not become a part of that cohort, and instead would establish themselves as successful individuals on their own terms and through their own hard work. For sure, if this plan works, both Kunis and Kutcher would be able to call themselves excellent parents.
