Thankfully some of them resort to meditation to ease tension and to just breathe in and breathe out. Things can easily get out of hand, which is why checking in yourself from time to time is a healthy habit. Lea Michele
“Glee” alum Lea Michele started allotting just 10 minutes of her time at home to meditate without music. She shared that the quiet, downtime greatly helps her. Her choice of meditation app is aptly called Calm, which the “Scream Queens” actress said is a good reminder that you need your “me time” so that your body and mind can relax.
LeAnn Rimes
If you are still clueless on how to start with relaxation, take it from LeAnn Rimes and her husband Eddie Cibrian who are both fond of meditation apps. The “How Do I Live” singer was so into it while her hubby was initially not interested.
However, she finally got into him and one day he just asked for it, she narrated. Basically, they are proof that this can be a fun activity not just for you, but for you and your partner as well. On which programs they love, the 36-year-old suggests their favorites: 10% Happier and Insight Timer.
Madelaine Petsch
YouTuber Madelaine Petsch has been battling anxiety so whenever she starts feeling anxious, she listens to music to calm herself down. The “Riverdale” star, who is famous for playing the feisty Cheryl Blossom on the show, recounted one scary moment that prompted her panic attack.
She narrated that she accidentally revealed her number in one of her vlogs, but it wasn’t something that she purposefully wrote on the screen or at the description section. The 24-year-old was showing the receipt of the food she ordered from PostMates, and at the bottom of the paper, the number was indicated.
As a result, she received hordes of call from unknown numbers. Madeleine explained that she already feels anxious whenever people she knows to call her, all the more with random strangers trying to contact her. She cried and missed a phone interview on that day and stayed like that for 30 minutes.
Maria Menounos
TV host Maria Menounos had to undergo an operation to remove a benign brain tumor two years ago and after that, she said that she was focusing on a holistic care approach to wellness.
By this, she was pertaining to her spiritual, mental, and emotional health, too, and the first step to do this is to meditate, she advised, linking the activity to stillness in life.
