Most people may know Jordyn Woods as Kylie Jenner’s BFF and right-hand woman, but the 21-year-old rising star model also has her fair share of secrets in maintaining her stunning physique. Woods shares her secrets in keeping a healthier and fitter body based on her own experience.
The Commitment
In an interview with E! News, Woods admitted consistency is the key when it comes to sustainable weight loss. According to her, losing weight isn’t her main reason why she started working out. Woods says she wants to have a healthier body, which is why instead of obsessing over her physical appearance, she concentrates on making herself stronger.
She may have lost only a few inches off her waistline, but Woods has never been happier with her body than she is today because of the improvement she has seen in her endurance and stamina.
Woods also finds it easier to stick to her routine because she’s focusing more on long-term results rather than short-term ones. For example, she doesn’t get discouraged easily if her weight doesn’t budge on the scale, not when Woods knows that she’s building more muscles in her visibly toned arms and legs.
She reveals that being consistent in your routine, whether it is working out every day or eating healthy, does help in keeping off your weight in the long run.
The Routine
Woods reveals her fitness routine involves going to the gym every day, or as much as possible. She shares she became addicted to going to the gym since it serves as her therapy.
Woods starts her workout with a 20-30 minute cardio as a warm-up before jumping into an ab workout. Then, the next day she shifts her workout regimen to focus on other areas of her body like arms, back, and legs.
Whenever her schedule gets hectic, and she can’t go to the gym, she makes it up by doing her own DIY workouts like bodyweight squats at home, walking or jogging, or having some dancing sessions.
Woods says you have to be creative when it comes to keeping your body moving. She says even 30 minutes of dancing or swimming can do wonders for your body.
The Inspiration
Despite her strict discipline when it comes to working out, Woods reveals she also experienced some downtimes. There are times she doesn’t feel like working out, or she’s not motivated to go to the gym.
Before she could commit to this bad habit, though, Woods says she counters procrastination by watching her workout videos. Watching her documentary videos help her remember she’s not only working out to better herself, but Woods also serves as an inspiration to her five million Instagram followers to improve their health. It motivates her to get up and exercise religiously.
