If you want to see all the members of the royal family, then you should always anticipate the annual Trooping the Colour. For this year, we saw the influential clan at the balcony of the Buckingham Palace as they await the colorful flyover.
We also saw Meghan Markle, the first since she and husband Prince Harry introduced their son Archie Harrison to the world.
Speaking of the bundle of joy, he was notably missing from the event, but is excused, since he is just about a month old. But another baby made his debut: Prince Louis, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s youngest child.
First Royal Engagement
The one-year-old was delightfully in high spirits as he appeared with his mom, dad, and siblings in the special event. But while the Trooping the Colour’s star should have been Queen Elizabeth II who turned a year older, it was Prince Louis who caught the eyes of the public.
This was his first royal event, since his christening couldn’t be counted because he was too young at the time, which is kind of a big milestone not just for him but for the whole family as well.
Prince Louis was absent in last year’s Trooping the Colour since he was just six weeks old at the time.
Now, it seems that the little boy is more than ready to step into the limelight as he practiced his waves to the crowd, probably taking a cue from older brother Prince George and big sis Princess Charlotte, who, by now, are a pro at waving.
Same Outfit
The Cambridges’ youngest child wore a white top and blue pants that seemed too familiar, avid fans of the royal family would say. That’s because it was very reminiscent of what his uncle Prince Harry had worn during his debuts.
Prince Louis entered the balcony in the arms of his mom as he waved to the crowd, but later on reached for his dad, who carried the child till the rest of the celebration.
The Trooping the Colour was definitely a family affair as the parents were seen doting of their kids. Prior to his balcony appearance, Princes Louis and George and Princess Charlotte were spotted by the Palace window, seemingly checking out the crowd. While peeping, they can be seen practicing their waves already.
Waving Practice
Back in December, Kate revealed that her third child was already beginning to wave, which by now would explain how his first one to the crowd looked perfect.
Prince Louis’ debut comes a month after the release of his photos to mark his birthday. Per usual, the images were taken by none other than Kate, who had done the same thing to her other kids.
