She embarked on a ketogenic journey, and the outcome is amazing. Jen Widerstrom practiced a thorough ketogenic eating routine for just 19 days and developed strong abs. Here is her experience as she unveiled the secret to her success.
Jen, who was a former trainer at Biggest Master, disciplined herself and observed the diet rules rigorously for 19 days in order to boost her health and mental vitality. Stress has been the order of the day for Jen before she embraced ketogenic diet. For more than half a year, she battled seriously with a severe stress that almost knocked her out. Finally, she found a ketogenic routine and decided to give it a shot, so on the 18th of January, she announced that she planned to go on a ketogenic plan because she had started to see signs that she was going shapeless.
The 35-year-old said that she’s been through one of the most challenging six months of her life and while battling to remain sane in the midst of the storm, she was aghast to see the unpleasant changes her condition was making on her mental stability, eating lifestyle and overall health.
She added that her own way of dealing with her severe stress and other aspects of her life that was worthy of gratitude was to immerse herself in excessive liquor, and regular consumption of fast food. Jen confessed that she was mentally exhausted. When she saw her tummy and distention, it made her cringe. That was when it dawned on her that she’s been wasting her time on unimportant things rather than face her problems and tackle them.
So she took the bold step, and after 19 days, Jen is feeling light-hearted and happier as a full-fledged keto diet practitioner.
Facing our problems can be overwhelming and mentally demanding, says Jen. The traumatic situation will have a negative effect on one’s eating lifestyle, communication and even relationship with people living in the same environment.
Jen shared how surprising the weight loss was for her. It was a welcome change from the restlessness and over-powering stress that dominated her life, almost throwing her off balance.
Jen posted on her Instagram wall that her highest point was the fact that she now possesses the ability to find a solution to the way she feels about herself. She was particularly pleased that she could also choose for herself the best ways of coping with whatever comes her way.
It doesn’t matter whether she’s the affected person or not, as long as she can decide on the best means of wading through her stress, she said. Jen feels that whether she wants to be responsive to her stress or not is up to her.
Jen’s experience taught her to choose a more proactive approach to her condition, by taking part in programs that will move her forward.
The ketogenic diet helped her in so many ways. Jen is happy to see significant results within such a short period of time. She doesn’t experience cravings anymore, and now she knows what she can eat and what she should avoid.
The only problem she has is the timing dictated by the keto routine. Adhering to it everytime has not been easy for her, especially due to starchy food, which has been banned by her doctor, which is on the list of her most important diet in keto plan.
However, she decided to avoid practicing ketogenesis, because her body cannot do without starch, she explained.
Jen is happy to be making progress towards her recovery, so she wants to inspire her fans always to make the change when the need calls for it. They should endeavor to take charge of their overall wellness because no one else can do that for them.
Giving up shouldn’t be an option, she wrote. She then recommends ketogenic diet as an effective diet plan which fits in perfectly to any situation.
