The 29-year-old actress revealed that when she was younger, she competed competitively at gymnastics, which is the secret to her flexibility.
Dobrev recalled how she had to work out about 4-6 hours every single day which is a lot of pressure for her. When asked if she ever felt insecure just like how most young women are today, she simply said that her way of not having to feel that is to continue what she loves doing and stay as active as possible.
She also mentioned how the older she gets the more she realizes that her health is the most important thing more than anything else, Dobrev even admits that she eats more now and eats very healthy where she feels good in and out.
The Canadian-Bulgarian actress also said that she is indeed a big fan of yoga and are taking yoga classes. She is the current brand ambassador for Reebok and at the same time working out with Les Mills has totally made her love yoga.
She also admitted that she wished she learned all about it when she was a young adult, but she is definitely taking advantage of it now. In an interview with Teen Vogue last year, when asked how important she thinks it is for young women to take care of themselves physically and mentally, Dobrev simply said that it seems like nowadays ‘me-time’ is no longer a thing and people just don’t pay much attention to themselves anymore.

She said that having three meals is important and that they have to have portion sizes so that the body could break it down easily which will help the metabolism.
However, one of her greatest secrets that she has when working out is music. A lot of people may think that it is nothing special but it is all about enjoying what you are doing and music helps her simply love working out even more. Music lets her get the beat and would make her want to workout even more.
But when asked how she managed to stay disciplined, Dobrev simply said that it has to be a choice, anyone can do it as long as they set their minds to it. She admitted that she wasn’t a morning person before but she wanted to look and feel good by working out every morning so she had to make time for it.
