Diets and workouts work hand in hand, a tag team that is likely to give you the results you want if you follow them both.
However, it is easier said than done, especially for those starting out. In exercise, the axiom “no pain, no gain” finds its validity – your muscles will hurt, your body will ache, but it’s part of the program.
As for the diet part, it’s tedious and, well, very restrictive that’s why it is hard to sustain.
But what if you can still consume peanut butter and wine on your diet? Zoe Kravitz’s certainly has one that certainly can make you feel like you’re not on an eating plan.
The 30-year-old is the child of actress Lisa Bonet and musician Lenny Kravitz, and there’s not a doubt that she is doing well in following the footsteps of her parents. “Fantastic Beasts,” “Divergent,” and “Big Little Lies” are just some of her biggest credits.
In Moderation
As for her secrets to staying fit, Zoe has been leaving out her tips in interviews, which might give us an idea on how she maintains such an enviable fit physique.
First, she said she believes that beauty and health come from within and everything is about moderation. The “Mad Max: Fury Road” thespian was raised by her parents as vegan but she previously revealed that she already eats meat that should be ethically sourced, meaning she sees to it that she is conscious about where it came from.
Zoe has been open up about her eating disorder that started when she was just 13 and lasted for 10 years. Unfortunately, the fame was one to blame for “feeling uncomfortable” in her own skin, but she’s learned that depriving yourself is not really the answer. For snacks, she opts for chocolate or food with peanut butter and for drinks, she enjoys red wine and whiskey.
Beverage
The songstress has admitted to not being a fan of sweet and mixed drinks but she loves tea. Zoe used to be a heavy coffee drinker but decided to cut down.
Since then, she resorted to chai tea or matcha in the morning. Plus, she knows the importance of water not just on the body but on the skin as well, but that doesn’t mean she always achieve the feat.
The struggle was real for Zoe, who narrated that there are times when it’s already 5 p.m. yet she only had a tiny glass of water for the whole day. According to her facialist, staying hydrated is crucial to get great skin and to avoid breakouts.
Workout
As for sweating things out, the “Dirty Feeling” singer is not like other celebrities who have trainers to guide them through their fitness journey, but this doesn’t mean she doesn’t like coaches.
Zoe said that with the numerous experts she had worked with in the past, she already has enough knowledge to work out on her own. As for her go-to exercise, she likes cardio – from running to elliptical, and also home workouts like leg exercises and stretches.
